"I had a magical lunch here! I had called to attempt to make a booking, but hung up because I forgot my Italian script. The lovely lady called me back immediately and when she realised my Italian was quite poor put me on the phone to someone who could speak English! I hadcl called to check they were open as I've sadly found that during non peak season most places are closed (despite a fairly reasonable "winter"). Thankfully this restaurant was open! I was the only person in the entire restaurant. Everyone of the staff I came across was so very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself is dreamy! They seated me next to the fireplace and there were candles! The food, was absolutely delicious. Simple, not complicated. Beautiful warm fresh bread. And I choose the cheese for the starter. I couldn't fault this experience. I highly recommend going out of your way to visit"

"We had one of the loveliest lunches in our whole week long trip here. We were able to explore the Masseria which is so picturesque and beautiful. The menu is structured into two options where you can choose to either skip the pasta course or include it. We chose to include it which we were very glad we did. It’s affordable, delicious, and traditional. The wine selection is also extensive and there is an option for everyone."

"I accidentally came to this place and was immediately warmly welcomed and invited to take a tour around the farm where I learned a lot about the stunning history of this place. The whole area is beautiful and truly makes you feel like you are traveling back in time. The food also was extraordinary tasty. I only chose the appetizers but couldn't even manage to eat it all. Very delicious variety of traditional Italian food - most of it also suitable for vegans! I thank this wonderful team so much for this very special experience and will surely come back one day! Grazie mille!"

"Traditional comforting food. Locally produced ingredients and traditional recipes. The atmosphere brings you back to the old farming days in the Italian countryside. This agriturismo has been renovated and brought back to life. The service and the quality of the ingredients deserves 5 stars. Book in advance (4 weeks at least)."

"We had heard quite a lot about this restaurant and just turned up in our motorhome on a Sunday early evening without a booking, in the hope that they could squeeze us in. We were very warmly welcomed, offered coffee and a table was booked for the two of us at 7.30, and we were also invited to go on a tour of property beforehand which was amazing! Luckily, Eliza who was very much ‘front of house’ could speak excellent English, otherwise, we would have missed out on a lot of the history of this amazing place. The food was very good with quite a few different courses and everything is made on the premises using fresh ingredients from the land. A truly wonderful experience. We were also allowed to park up in the restaurant car park and sleep the night in our van which was an added bonus as we could enjoy a bottle of good wine without having to worry about driving! Altogether, a brilliant experience."

"Beautiful place in the middle of nowhere. Only self-made/grown products for amazing food. Our recommendation is to try a starter with 'exploding tomatoes'. The owner is very welcoming. He showed us the whole building and explained how he revived it and what each premise was used for before"

"This place is more than just a restaurant—it’s a must-visit attraction in Salento. The food is exceptional, made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, many of which are grown on-site. We especially loved their rich, flavorful olive oil paired with freshly baked in-house bread. Our lunch started with a delightful selection of local cheeses, followed by outstanding handmade pasta. The main dish was tender, slow-cooked meat in a rich tomato sauce. However, I felt it should have been accompanied by a side, as it was served on its own. For this reason, I’d give the food 4 stars. To finish, we had a delicious meringue for dessert, which was light and perfectly sweet. But what truly sets this place apart is the atmosphere. Beautifully decorated in a traditional village style, it feels like stepping back in time to experience the charm of an authentic Italian farmhouse. Dried tomatoes hang from the ceiling, adding to the rustic ambiance, while fireplaces crackle with burning wood in every room, creating a warm and inviting setting. At the entrance, baskets of fresh lemons create a beautiful and colorful setting, adding to the charm. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, dressed elegantly in traditional clothing, which adds even more to the authenticity of the experience. Our dog was also well accepted and welcomed inside, even though she barked a little. We truly felt welcomed and had a wonderful time. I really recommend this place to anyone visiting Salento!"

"Wow! This place was recommended on a blog, and it was even better in person. A true dining experience in addition to wonderful food and very friendly people - we arrived to be swept into a little tour of the place which was such a nice introduction to the dining experience. Much of the food is grown here and from local farms. I hope to return again someday. Have never experienced anything like it before. P.S. call ahead to make a reservation"
